Odd that Councillor Pritchard thinks a top down review of jobs in the Guildhall is a good idea at a time when he, as Leader of the Council, agreed to increasing the membership of the Executive Board by two members costing an extra £63,000. Save with one hand and spend with the other!

Fully agree – the planned changes reduces the number of Department yet the Council add three new portfolio Lead Members as stated above– is this a perverse logic!

I was informed that the management review was carried out as one of the strategic directors *REMOVED* had put in a request to ‘go’ but this could be one of the many rumours that now seem to be spreading within this council and I was also told that the staff morale is now well below zero with even those who thought they were ‘fireproof’ now looking over their shoulders.

Just depersonalised a couple of the above posts removing a named individual after a request.
