On Saturday morning members of the Gateway Church congregation and Maesgwyn residents cleared the local playing field and hedgerow of fly tipping and an unhealthy build up of rubbish.

To those that took part I would like to thank for volunteering their time to help make a difference to the look of their own community.

It is something that we will be looking to repeat again, as everyone enjoyed the morning.

The rubbish was bagged and left at the Berse Road end of the Maesgwyn field, with the prior agreement of WCBC Streetscene, who were to remove the rubbish on the Monday in their caged van.

    I hope that clarifies matters.

Good publicity for the next elections Phil, pity no photo shoot.
