    “Transport Grant
4.15 Notification of £600k Transport Grant for the Wrexham Industrial Estate Access Road Scheme in 2014/15 has been received from the Welsh Government. In addition to this £434k has been secured from the Welsh Government Local Transport Fund comprising £122k Cefn Road Active Link, £112k West Wrexham Highway Capacity Improvements and £200k Improved Access to Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The Authority has also been awarded £123k Welsh Government Road Safety grant.”

Page 40 from Exe Board Minutes looks like excellent news for the Maelor Hospital, money for improved access. I hope that means a rear entrance off Croesnewydd Road , the splay is already there ! This is long overdue .

The entrance via Watery road is a nightmare. The road is not wide enough
and now with a busy garage (Kwik Fit) it’s even more busier than before. It’s high time there was another way of getting to the hospital.

I agree and the parked cars make it a nightmare

A couple of signs showing people how to get to A&E might be useful too, as no one seems to know how to get in there.
