No. It’s how most block paving paths and drives are laid.

” Cllr Neil Rogers, Leader of Wrexham Council, said: “Delighted that the team has been awarded this prestigious award. It demonstrates our commitment to improving the environment in the town centre for the benefit of traders and shoppers alike. “

Has Mr Rogers talked this through with our Town Centre Manager.

Wasn’t there something on here recently that King Street is designated as a non-retail area – and not in the town centre ?

I’m amazed this scheme won an award hardly anybody has anything positive to say about it.
That being the case – Well done !

Just need to confirm that this was an award for the environment rather than the beneficiaries ie business and shoppers. Even the statement by John Mather (Awarding Body) states “It’s always good to see clients, designers and constructors working together in partnership to deliver successful projects and being recognized for their efforts.”
No where does this make reference to working in partnership with businesses or customers who surely should be the ones that assess the success of such a project.
