Anybody heard anything about the possibility of a large housing development planned for just off the Fairways Estate, well actually joining onto it by Thornhurst Drive?

I seem to remember seeing something a while back but thought that it was nearer the rugby fields. I can’t find anything now other than this link.

Apparently, according to somebody who lives close by, the plan is to build hundreds of new houses with the access road coming in off Thornhurst Drive where the gate to the field is.
