Upcoming Wrexham v Chester Match To Be A Bubble Match
North Wales Police have confirmed the next Wrexham AFC v Chester FC will be another Bubble Match.
Following on from joint Safety Advisory Group planning meetings in relation to the Chester FC v Wrexham AFC match on Saturday 19th April, both Chester and Wrexham Football Clubs, Cheshire Police and North Wales Police have agreed, that in the interests of safety, the game will be all ticket, with Wrexham fans travelling to the match on officially organised supporters coaches.
A kick off time of 12 noon has also been agreed.
1,200 tickets have been allocated to Wrexham supporters for this game, the Clubs will be announcing the detailed ticketing arrangements in due course, on their websites.
A statement released by North Wales Police said: “These measures mirror the arrangements that applied to the match earlier in the season and are intended to help to make the event safe and enjoyable for everyone, whilst minimising any potential disruption to local communities, businesses and the general public.”
Last year’s Wrexham v Chester match in the Racecourse saw a high level of police presence in the town, along with Chester fans being escorted to and from Wrexham in coaches down the A483. You can read our full report if the first Bubble Match here.
