Earlier this month we reported on the traffic chaos caused by the roadworks around St Georges Crescent.

Resurfacing work is now completed, however with the road outside KFC now re-closed for line painting the traffic nightmare has returned.

Traffic has been backing up again around Eagles Meadow, having knock on effects for traffic back towards Salop Road. It was quicker to get onto Holt Road when we tried earlier to go ‘around the back’ on Smithfield Rd then Montgomery Road.

The Tesco carpark exit had returned to its problematic manner despite the back exit gate being open and signposted.
