Road Opens Following Two Vehicle Collision Near The Beeches

Update 6:21pm: Chester Road in Gresford has reopened following the earlier two vehicle collision outside The Beeches.

Update 6:12pm: Chester Road near The Beeches is still closed however recovery is at the scene

A woman in her 50s and a woman in her 60s have both been taken to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital with non-serious injuries.

ORIGINAL: Emergency services currently in attendance at a two vehicle collision near The Beeches in Gresford.

It is thought the collision took outside The Beeches restaurant shortly after 5pm this evening

We’re told two ambulances and police are in attendance.

One person has been in touch to say a police car that the top of Chester Road, just off the Gresford Roundabout has been blocked off by police – with traffic being diverted from the area.

A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they have not been called to the collision.
