Police appeal after wing mirrors kicked off five cars parked on Wrexham street

A police appeal has been launched after multiple car wing mirrors were kicked off in an act of “pointless” vandalism

The incident took place at around 2am on Saturday 22 May in the Oxford Street area of Wrexham.

Officers responded to a call of shouting in the street and on arrival discovered at least five vehicles on the street had been damaged.

Wrexham Town Centre Inspector, Luke Hughes, said: “Incidents such as this are very rare but it doesn’t excuse the sheer frustration and pointlessness of the damage which will fall on the innocent victims to repair.

Extensive CCTV checks have been completed but I would appeal for anyone with cameras in the vicinity to review them and get in touch if they note anything suspicious.”
