The ongoing rainfall has resulted in flooding on the A483 Rossett slip road.

Conflicting reports from Traffic Wales and other outlets say the slip road, or a single lane of the slip road, has been closed again while highways attend the scene to deal with the issue.

There are no traffic delays in the area as a result of the temporary lane closure.

This exact same section of road by Rossett was also subject to flooding back on January 3rd.

Throughout the day there have been reports of bad conditions and incidents on the road – with lots of spray as a result of the heavy rain causing problems for drivers.

Earlier tonight the A483 was closed by the B&Q / Mold Road turn off after a multi-vehicle incident, and the A483 had a 40mph limit imposed by Gresford after flooding.
