We have had a report of early morning burglaries in Gresford.

Laura Davies told us that iPhones, laptops, jewellery, money and clothes were stolen from properties in Narrow Lane, Gresford around 5am this morning.

Laura said “It sounds like an opportunist burglary as they took remote controls for TV but not the TV, obviously too big for them to take”.

A local chip shop was also reported to have suffered a break in. Locally it was said a till was stolen but later recovered in Brynteg.
