One can only now assume that if the old Police Station has a demolition date that the Police have an opening date for a new station at a location as yet not made public. It can only be assumed that they are going to do a very rapid build or a swift conversion of a property to meet the necessary planning and build period.
Perhaps for the town centre they will open a proper ‘Cop Shop’ for their beat staff to operate from and initial processing for low level crimes a base.
Or are they going to be located in the Orial Art Gallery after that moves to the Peoples Market. This location would give ease of access to town, car parking and rapid deployment of vehicles– is this another part of the town centre jigsaw.
I wonder if WCBC accept this has been discussed as an option!

As mentioned in the article, the demolition of the police station will leave the Memorial Hall very vulnerable to the same treatment !

Wrexham has a history of demolition but usually fails to put anything worthwhile it its place.. Deja vu
