B&Q closure

Anyone know any news on the closure of B&Q in Wrexham? Rumour has it that their sister company Screw fix is to remain while the B&Q store is due for closure some time this year.

Queensferry is going and that is a much more modern store – told the staff there had letters the other day with the news, although also told there is a recruitment stand still in the door.

Locally this does not appear to have happened – so hopefully not!

Well one of the two will go. There’s absolutely no sense in having Screwfix literally next to B&Q.

I guess the decision will come down to turnover and whether one range of products or the other wins the day.
