“Recent Work at Holt Castle” is the topic of a talk to be given to the Wrexham Area Civic Society. It will be given by Steve Grenter, who is the Heritage Services Manager at Wrexham CBC.

Recent archaeological excavations have unearthed more discoveries about the construction and use of the castle. We look forward to Steve’s talk on this fascinating topic.

The talk will take place at Ty AVOW, 21 Egerton Street, Wrexham at 7.15 pm on Thursday 21 April 2016. The meeting is open to non-members and is free to attend.

To find out more about the society please come to the meeting, which will in fact include a description of the past year’s activities. Or feel free to contact the society’s secretary Nick Roe on 07807772307, or see the society’s website www.facebook.com/wrexhamcivic.
