Details: Glyndwr University will host a free lecture on the Welsh language and criminal justice.

Doctor Iolo Madoc-Jones, Head of Research in the Division of Social Science and Education at the Wrexham institution, will talk in Welsh about his recent study into the language claims and language choices made by service users in the criminal justice system.

He explores when and why language choices become important and how an understanding of this could encourage further use of the Welsh language in the service across Wales. The lecture takes place on Tuesday November 18 from 6pm in the Nick Whitehead Theatre
