Fans of Harry Potter can expect a night of magic and enchantments tonight in Wrexham, with a special event planned to celebrate the wonders of witchcraft and wizardry.

Aspiring witches, wizards and muggles alike in Wrexham can now attend the world’s first ever global Harry Potter Book Night with activities, quizzes and a fancy dress competition held at Wrexham Library.

The event will take place this evening from 4-6pm, with readings from the first Harry Potter book as well as an opportunity for children to have their picture taken with the Sorting Hat!

Organisers will be sharing the wonder of J.K. Rowling’s unforgettable stories and, most excitingly, introducing the next generation of readers to the unparalleled magic of Harry Potter.

The event is free of charge to attend and open to all. Please note that children under eight must be accompanied by an adult. You can find out more about Harry Potter Book Night at www.harrypotterbooknight.com.

For more information on our event, please contact Wrexham Library on 01978 292090.
