Local schoolchildren have created a moving display by transforming their plastic bottles into poppies.

The pupils at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Lea Road, have been busy working with its Eco Team to help make the display.

Pupils, parents and grandparents all came together in a series of workshops to create the beautiful poppies to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War One.
