Warning after thefts of plant machinery from three different building sites

Police have issued a warning after a spate of plant machinery thefts.

Thefts have been reported from building sites in Llay, Summerhill and Pontfadog Llangollen.

The incidents too place overnight on the 30th of July in Llay where a Caterpillar ride on roller was taken.

Overnight on the 25th on July at the incident in Pontfadog, Llangollen a Pecker Mini Digger was taken.

Police ask anyone to report any suspicious incidents to 101 or the 999 numbers, adding “Look out for plant machinery on the back of trailers in the early hours and report anything suspicious. Keep plant secure.”
