Several cars have been targeted over the weekend, with owners being warned to ensure vehicles are locked & valuables removed.

On Saturday evening a car was broken into on Mayville Avenue in Rhosddu, with a window damaged to gain access and a jacket stolen.

On the same evening a car was broken into on Foster Road, again via smashing a window, and another jacket was stolen.

The third break in again involved window damage, this time on Grosvenor Road, and a purse was taken. A suspect was seen running off towards King Street.

Another car theft was reported the other end of town on Smithfield Road, where access was gained to a white van and a jack along with various wheel nuts were taken.

As usual, anyone with any information is urged to call police via the 101 number.
