Three Vehicle RTC Between Chirk & Ruabon

The A483 southbound between Chirk and Ruabon is was temporarily closed this afternoon following a three vehicle road traffic collision.

A HGV, Citroen and Volkswagen Polo were involved in the incident, which took place at around 2:45pm this afternoon.

Ruabon CFR tweeted Wrexham.com the above photo, saying: “Wrexham A483 southbound now completely closed at the Ruabon/Llangollen turn off.”

The northbound lanes remain open as usual, however delays are expected for those travelling southbound on the A483.

A spokesperson for North Wales Ambulance Service said: “We have conveyed a male in his 30s – query a possible leg injury – to the Maelor.”

The road reopened at 3:45pm.
