Two Rescued From Lift in Wrexham Town Centre

Two people who were trapped in a lift in Wrexham Town Centre were rescued by fire crews this afternoon. 

Shortly before 12:30pm this afternoon a fire engine was seen on Regent Street in Wrexham Town Centre, with Tony Whilding tweeting Wrexham.com to say that people were stuck in a lift in the Primark Store.

There are unconfirmed reports that two people – an adult and a child were temporarily trapped in the lift.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that one crew from Wrexham attended an incident in the town at 12:22pm this afternoon.

Details of when the pair were released from the lift are not known, however we are told that the fire crew were back at the station at 12:50pm.
