Teenage Girl Sexually Assaulted On Pandy Footbridge

A teenage girl has been sexually assaulted while crossing the A483 footbridge by Pandy.

The victim was walking in the Pandy estate area of Wrexham around 6pm on Thursday 7th November, when she was approached from behind on the Pandy footbridge and assaulted.

North Wales Police are appealing for information and said “It is believed that she had been followed from the Chester Road area. The offender is described as male, about 5’7” tall and wearing dark clothes and a hat or a hood.”

“He ran off back over the bridge towards the general direction of Ty Gwyn Lane.”

The victim was not injured.

North Wales Police say they are following a number of active lines of enquiry and would ask that anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting the reference number RC13183794.
