Second man released on bail as Wrexham murder investigation continues

As investigations into a murder case in Wrexham continue, a second man, who was arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on bail today.

The man, who was arrested earlier this week, has been released pending further investigations.

A third suspect, who was arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday (Thursday, June 15th), remains in police custody.

The investigation centres around the death of a 59-year-old man, named John Ithell, from Pentre Gwyn, Wrexham.

Mr Ithell was discovered in a lane adjacent to Cefn Road in Wrexham on June 12th.

He was taken to hospital, but sadly died later.
