A number of properties across parts of Brymbo and Brynteg have been hit by a power cut this morning.

SP Energy Networks say its engineers are due to be on site from 9:30am and are aiming to repair the damaged cable and restore power by 10:45am.

A statement by the company says: “There is a power cut affecting the LL11 postcode area of Wrexham affecting properties in Brymbo, Brynteg, Pentre Broughton, Lodge and surrounding area.

“Our control centre will attempt to reset the network completely to restore power in stages, and our emergency response team are on their way to investigate.

“Our team will work to get your power back on as quickly and as safely and possible and we expect the power to be restored by 10:45am.”
