Police pursuit: Man arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving

Police have confirmed there was a police pursuit in the area earlier today.

A large number of police vehicles were seen in the Llangollen and Ruabon area.

The police helicopter was also overhead the Llangollen area around 10:30am.

This afternoon local police said, “Shortly after 9.20am, we received a report of an incident in the area of Chirk, following which a police pursuit ensued.

“ The vehicle was brought to a stop by officers along the A5 in Carrog, Denbighshire and a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.”
