Parts Of Wrexham Hit By Power Cut

A number of homes across Wrexham have been left without electricity this afternoon due to a power cut.

The areas that seem to be affected are Coedpoeth and New Broughton, however homes slightly further afield in Ruthin have also been left without power.

The issue seems to have happened shortly after 12:30 this afternoon, with Claire Griffiths tweeting to ask if anyone’s electricity in the New Broughton area had gone off.

Fiona Jones also tweeted to say that power in Heol Offa in Coedpoeth had also been lost.

Scottish Power are aware of the issue and have since tweeted the below:

It is believed that the issue will be dealt with by 3pm this afternoon.
