Wrexham’s MP has launched a new guide offering advice and information to help people look after their mental health during the coronavirus crisis.

The eight page ‘Keeping Your Mind in Check’ document has been launched to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week between Monday 18 May to Sunday 24 May.

It features useful contact details for mental health support charities, along with advice on how to look after yourself and others during the pandemic.

Wrexham MP, Sarah Atherton, said: “Our mental health and our physical health are just as important as each other.

“That’s why, particularly at the moment, we need to make sure that we, our friends and our family look after our mental health as much as possible.

“I hope that this short guide will give you tips and information on making sure that you look after your mental health at a time that can be scary to lots of people across the country.”

Mental Health Awareness Week has been hosted by the Mental Health Foundation for the last 20 years.

The theme of this year’s campaign is kindness.

The guide itself can be found on Atherton’s website in this PDF file.
