Pandora’s Eagles Meadow store closes after ‘scissors’ incident

Wrexham’s Pandora store on Eagles Meadow was closed off this afternoon after an incident involving a member of the public and staff.

Update III: PC Thomas Hough has tweeted the following about the incident…

Update II: Police have confirmed they were called to the store at 1:30pm, and a man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting.

Update: We are told the incident was an alleged attempted shoplifting incident rather than robbery, where a man involved picked up a pair of scissors. We are told thankfully no staff were harmed, or threats made.

The incident took place around 1.30pm with an eyewitness telling us police and staff were discussing the use of ‘scissors’ in what another described as a ‘possible attempt at a robbery’.

Two police officers and a security guard were seen inside the store, with one saying that “We have taken the scissors away”.
