Chester Road Near Gresford Roundabout Reopens After Incident

Update: The road has since reopened following the collision earlier this afternoon.

Original Story: An incident this afternoon resulted in the closure of some parts of the Gresford roundabout/Chester Road just off the A483 bypass.

The incident has taken place between The Beeches Restaurant and the Gresford roundabout, with multiple vehicles believed to have been involved.

At present Chester Road is blocked off by police, with the Sapphire bus pictured above later seen reversing away from the scene aided by police. Diversions are currently in place in the area.

Three police cars, an ambulance and a fire engine are in attendance at the incident, which took place at around 3:20pm this afternoon.
