North Wales Police’s Control Room will be tweeting around the clock to keep people up to date with real time incidents across the force area.

The @NWPControlRoom account was set up today and will allow all Incident Managers & supervisors to provide updates 24/7.

They have also invited members of the public to feedback and follow the account.

The account was formerly used by Force Incident Manager Dave Ashworth to tweet updates from his shifts.

Inspector Ashworth has previously tweeted incident updates when the A483 was closed after a major accident in which the front of a vehicle was crushed and when slates were thrown from a church roof on Bradley Road.

Here at Wrexham.com we’ll be keeping an eye and hopefully interacting with the account to keep you updated on what’s going on in Wrexham.
