A group of aspiring authors are gathered at the Writer’s House on the Northumberland coast to learn the art of the crime story. That afternoon the body of the course tutor was found in the summer house and only the people in the house could have committed the murder! So, who did it?

The suspects (in the form of actors) will gather in Wrexham Library in the evening on Tuesday 7th May at 7pm in Wrexham Library to conduct an investigation based on the novels by award-winning crime writer Ann Cleeves.

To celebrate World Book Night Ann Cleeves has written a special murder mystery script. Local actors will use this script to host an evening of witness statements, forensic reports and, of course, guessing whodunnit! After the confession is read, a prize will be awarded to the audience member closest to solving the murder. Copies of Ann’s books will be available on the night to buy.

Tickets cost £2 and are available from Wrexham Library. For more information call 01978 292090. Light refreshments are included.
