Man Airlifted to Hospital Following ‘Industrial Accident’
A man has been airlifted to hospital following an ‘industrial accident’ in Wrexham.
Earlier this afternoon there were reports of emergency services activity around the Wrexham Industrial Estate, with Jamie telling Wrexham.com that police and the Welsh Air Ambulance had been seen in the area.
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service has since confirmed they were called to an incident in Wrexham, stating: “We were called shortly before 1.35pm to reports of an industrial accident at a premises near Cross Lanes.
The spokesperson added: “The Wales Air Ambulance and an emergency ambulance attended the scene and a man was airlifted to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.”
There are no further details available at present regarding his injuries.
We have contacted North Wales Police and are awaiting further information on the incident.
