Two Incidents On A483 Cause Traffic Issues

Two incidents on the bypass have caused traffic issues this evening, one involving multiple vehicles.

The first incident occurred by the Gresford Roundabout involving one car. All lanes have since been re-opened.

The second has one lane blocked and queueing traffic northbound by Rossett due to accident involving up to four vehicles. As of 6:20pm the incident is ongoing with emergency services at the scene.

Update: All lanes have now reopened, however traffic is still slow moving on the A483 southbound. 

Original Story: One lane on the A483 southbound is currently closed off following an incident, believed to involve on vehicle.

The incident took place on the A483 southbound near the A5156 J6 / A5152 Chester Road, Bluebell Lane (Gresford Interchange)

Traffic is currently backed up towards Rossett, with one person reporting that traffic is moving at around 5mph.

Emergency services are currently in attendance.

Several eyewitnesses have been in touch to say that a car is facing the wrong way one lane.

Aimee Rose Davies has been in touch saying: “Bypass from Rossett Junction heading in the direction of Wrexham is solid traffic, traffic is not moving at all.”
