Have your say on Wrexham Council’s online services!

Members of the public are being invited to have their say on Wrexham Council’s online services

The Customer Access Engagement Strategy consultation focuses on how often participants use the internet, how they engage with council services and how the local authority can improve its digital technology.

As part of the process Wrexham Council is keen to also find out:

  • To what extent people use our online services
  • Things that might stop people from accessing council services online
  • Things that would encourage people to access more services online
  • Ways our online services could be improved
  • Any support people need to help them get online
  • Opinions on the range of contact methods available

The consultation has been launched as Wrexham Council looks to update its digital initiatives.

The local authority has moved more services online since the coronavirus pandemic – with the public consultation also asking what council services you would like to be able to access via the internet.

There are also questions on what might encourage a person to use council services online more and the reasons why they don’t already.

Cllr Beverley Parry-Jones, Lead Member for Corporate Services, said: “We want to get as many opinions as we can so we can continue to develop the many council services we provide online, and to help us support our digitally excluded residents.

“The Customer Access Engagement Strategy consultation is live until April 30 and it takes around 10-15 minutes to complete, so please take part if you can.”
