Three fire engines were seen Wrexham town centre earlier this morning.

The fire engines were called to an incident on Hope Street, with Shannon (who sent us the image featured above) telling us that crews were seen “standing outside a Card shop looking up above the store itself at the roof”.

A spokesperson from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service that crews were called to a property in Wrexham town centre, however the incident was a false alarm caused by overheated lights.

The incident was the second call out in Wrexham today, with fire crews earlier attending a JCB fire on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.
