Residents in the Salop Road and Caia Road area and motorists who regularly use this route are advised of disruption due to essential resurfacing works.

A one way system will be in operation and Diversions will be in place but motorists are advised to find alternative routes or allow extra time for their journey.

The works start on Sunday 31st January and are expected to take eight days to complete.

Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member Environment and Transport said: “I appreciate these works will cause some disruption to residents and local motorists, however, these are essential works and the road surface will be much improved for future use. We are trying to give enough notice as possible including local businesses and would like to thank everyone affected for their patience during the works.”
