Earlier this evening there were reports that Eagles Meadow had been evacuated due to a fire.

It is reported that a smoke alarm went off in the Odeon, which resulted in the cinema being evacuated however later this evening we have been told by people eating in Nandos the issue started there.

However it appears to have been a false alarm and unrelated to extra hot sauce being used on the chicken!

Firefighters attended the scene and it is believed there were two fire engines on Eagles Meadow with the above picture via Rachael Farrington.
