Wrexham’s very own Robbie Savage is listed by bookies as an unlikely replacement to Daniel Craig for the next James Bond.

Betting odds released today show that Wrexham born Robbie Savage is currently listed as one of the potential Bond options, just behind Russell Crowe and Jamie Foxx.

The ex-footballer turned commentator and dancer is currently at 250-1 to be the next James Bond, long odds that are almost certain to shorten.

Mr Savage faces some tough competition to beat the favourites to replace Daniel Craig as the new 007, with Tom Hardy (5-2), Idris Elba (4-1) and Michael Fassbender (7-1) currently ranked as the top three.

The betting odds for who will replace Daniel Craig as the new James Bond after the actor refused to comment on his future as 007 in an interview earlier this week ahead of the new Spectre film release.

However as the leaked image featured above shows – Robbie has already been photographed testing out his ‘barrel’ pose for a screen test.

If Robbie Savage is to be Wrexham’s James Bond, it does pose the question who would be your Wrexham Bond Girl, Villain, and where would the Villain’s Headquarters be?
