North Wales Police say the bike, which is believed to have been stolen, was recovered in Gresford yesterday.

A man was arrested around midnight, with the arrest in Gresford believed to be on Wrexham Road. He was in possession of jewellery and a bike.

A reader has been in touch to say: “I stopped 4 burglars last night that we’re attempting to break into my neighbours garage. All were carrying crowbars/hammers, aged between 20-30, and male. I contacted the police and they only managed to get one in custody.”

He added to make “people aware of what happened and ensure they lock all doors and windows and keep an eye out for any sketchy goings on!”
