A Twitter question and answer session held earlier today between the Leader of Wrexham Council and members of the public has been branded a ‘huge success’.

The Q&A took place between 9am and 10am this morning, with members of the public posting questions on town centre parking, how much money is owed under section 106 agreements, traffic on Ruthin Road, the misuse of Rhosddu Park and what is being done to get more council members on Twitter. One question on if Mr Pritchard would prefer to face one horse-sized duck, or 100 duck-sized horses was ignored.

The questions and answers can be found listed below:

Mark-Pritchard-Twitter12This morning’s event was the first of its kind to take place with Wrexham Council since 2013, with initial Q&A sessions ‘trialled’ with Cllr Michael Williams, Cllr Pritchard and Cllr Hugh Jones.

Speaking of the earlier Q&A, Cllr Pritchard said: “This morning’s Twitter Q&A was a huge success in giving the residents of Wrexham the opportunity to have their questions asked and answered. During today’s session we were able to respond to 12 questions and I hope that the number will be even higher for next month’s Q&A.”

Wrexham.com did get a reply from Mr Pritchard (below) however to be clear we were talking about his personal twitter account which had been inactive for a period of time, rather than any ongoing work. Similarly, it was said twitter account that was ‘revived’ rather than him awaking from a six month cryogenic slumber.
