Original information below…

Part of Cefn Road has been closed by police, along with some surrounding roads, as they respond to an incident in Caia late this afternoon.

Nikki told us: “Coed Aben area blocked off along on Cefn Road with armed response present.”

Sandra sent us the below image of three firearms 4×4 vehicles nearby:

Another resident said they were turned around by police why trying to get down Cefn Road, with the local indication was that police were responding to concerns regarding a firearm, with officers with weapons drawn focusing their attention at a single property.

Glyn has said: “We are in lockdown in Ceiriog Road. All taxis and buses have been stopped.”
