CCTV stills have been released after a series of burglaries at shops in Wrexham.

NWP Community Safety East tweeted the images earlier today as part of a wider appeal for information and to encourage residents to report anything suspicious to police.

In relation to the above image, NWP Community Safety East, say: “Between 24th and 28th November, two males with weapons have stolen two tills from convenience stores in Wrexham town in the evening between 7pm and 10pm.

“Please be vigilant if you visit or live near a store, especially in the evening.”

The second image has been released after a robbery at The Exchange on Queen Street in Wrexham town centre. The theft took place shortly after 3pm on Monday 25th November.

A Rolex watch was stolen by two males with weapons.

It is thought the theft could be linked to robberies at convenience stores.

NWP Community Safety East, add: “Report anything suspicious to 101. Look after each other and remain vigilant, if in doubt, just report it.”
