UPDATE TWO: The road has since reopened.

UPDATE: PC Thomas Hough has said, “No injuries, just some shock, all been checked over by ambulance, recovery are now on scene and the road will be re-opened within 15minutes, thank you for your patience.”

Police and the ambulance service are attending an incident by Llangollen.

The A5 is partially blocked just before the golf club if heading east from Llangollen to Froncysyllte.

The incident is described as a ‘one vehicle RTC’ with the above picture released by police, who add “We’re working hard to get the road fully open, please avoid as delays are expected”
