Update: The bypass and Berse Road have reopened this evening following the earlier incident.

Original information below.

The A483 Wrexham bypass is closed both ways this evening after an incident.

The closure is in place between Junction 4 – Ruthin Road – and Junction 5 – the ‘B&Q’ Mold Road roundabout.

North Wales Police have said, “Due to an ongoing incident the A483 at Junction 5 the B&Q roundabout is closed in both directions”

“Please avoid the area, thank you for your assistance with this.”

We have had two separate reports that the B5101 Berse Road to New Broughton is also subject to a closure.

More shortly.
