Burglar Sentenced After Committing 11 Offences

A man from Chester was sentenced last week after pleading guilty to a number of domestic burglary offences across Wrexham and Flintshire.

Michael David Brown 35, from the Chester area was sentenced on Friday December 6. Brown was interviewed at Wrexham Custody where he admitted committing a burglary at an address and an attempt at another along with being in possession of items with intent of using in a burglary – he was charged with these offences. Brown also admitted to 11 other burglary offences which he asked to be taken into consideration. As a result he was sentenced 3 years custody.

Det Insp Arwyn Jones who is responsible for management of burglary investigations in Wrexham said: “Burglary is an extremely impactive crime on the victim, and one that North Wales Police sees as a priority. We are pleased with the court sentencing and hope that it sends out a message to both criminals and members of the public that North Wales Police will relentlessly pursue those intent on committing these offences to ensure offenders are brought to justice.”
