UPDATE: The exit slip road on the A483 has reopened and the broken down lorry has been moved.

Original Story: A broken down lorry on the A483 has result in the temporary closure of an exit slip road on the bypass.

The lorry has reportedly broken down on the southbound exit slip road, at A5156 J6 / A5152 Chester Road / B5445 Chester Road / Blue Bell Lane (Gresford Interchange).

The incident took place shortly after 3:30pm this afternoon.

As a result the slip road has been temporarily ‘closed for safety’ while the tyre of the lorry is changed.

Due to the road closure traffic in the area is moving slowly on the carriageway and also around Gresford Roundabout.
