Police have issued an appeal for information after livestock was stolen from an address in Rossett overnight.

Eight cows were taken from a farm in the Harewood Lane area, with police stating that the offenders accessed the property by breaking the gates.

A video appeal has also been released by the North Wales Police Rural Crime team – who are calling on anyone who saw any livestock being moved in the Rossett area from 5pm last night until 6am this morning. Particularly any vehicles with a livestock wagon or towing a livestock trailer that was leaking oil.

Anyone with any information about the theft is urged to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting reference number x092070. Officers are also calling on anyone who may have any dashcam footage to get in touch.
