Wrexham got another five minutes of fame tonight – with Saturday Night Takeaway featuring the town as one of its ‘mystery locations’ for VIP Tickets to the show.

This evening’s show featured the all weather pitch at Wrexham Glyndwr University as one of the show’s secret locations – giving one lucky viewer the chance to win tickets to next weekend’s episode.

For those who aren’t aware of the concept – every week Saturday Night Takeaway visits four mystery towns and cities across the country. If you recognise the location, you head down with a chair, collect and a number and are in with a chance to win the ‘Best Seats in the House’ for the next episode of Saturday Night Takeway (and spend the evening sitting with a former Pussycat Doll as well!)

Tonight’s random location and random number went to number 14 in Wrexham, who turned out to be a rightly excitable Chris Green – who was so happy he started waving his plastic chair in the air.
