Two People Freed From Vehicle By Fire Service After A5 Crash

Two people have been cut out of a vehicle by fire crews this lunchtime in an incident that closed the A5 by Gobowen.

Update: Shropshire Fire and Rescue service said they attended an earlier RTC involving 2 vehicles, with no one trapped.

The second more serious incident was also detailed, with the Service saying: “Further RTC involving 2 vehicles, one of the vehicles has left the carriageway and 2 persons were released from vehicle by fire service personnel using Holmatro cutting equipment and being dealt with by Ambulance crew.”

The air ambulance is currently attending the incident, landing at around 11:35am.
