40 Year Old Man Arrested After Car Careers Around Town Streets

A man has been charged after a dark blue car was driven erratically around the streets of Wrexham yesterday afternoon.

A nearby resident told us: “The car turned out of Erddig Road into path of another car driven by woman, with a child in car seat.

“The car drove off, mounting the pavement. It smashed into wall further up Fairy Road causing major damage.”

The incident carried on up Court Road and Belmont Road.

Vehicle debris was left in the street, pictured above.

The resident said the female victim was unhurt but was ‘shaken up’.

North Wales Police confirmed that thankfully no one was injured.

A 40 year old man was arrested by police, and has subsequently been charged with offences relating to the incident.
